He began his journey with iDE as an intern on the Global WASH team in 2014 while pursuing his graduate degree. Afterward, he worked for PSI in Vietnam and in the private sector in the USA before returning to iDE as a member of the Cambodia WASH team in 2018.

Tyler has been the water, sanitation, and hygiene (WASH) program director at iDE Cambodia since October 2022. In his role, he oversees the Cambodia country program's WASH initiatives, which include rural sanitation, hygiene, and solid waste management implementation and research. Since arriving in Cambodia in 2018, Tyler has worked on  developing supply chains and products in climate vulnerable areas, exploring climate-targeted sanitation financing mechanisms, incorporation of agile development methods into iDE's product development, research and implementation, while leading iDE Cambodia's new initiatives in plastics recycling and solid waste management.

Outside of work, Tyler enjoys rock climbing, playing roller hockey, and planning his next dive trip. He's always happy to trade podcasts, book recommendations, or dad jokes.
