Saroja is currently serving as iDE’s director of Asia operations. Saroja brings over a decade of experience in international development focused on private sector market growth. Her expertise lies in both the private sector and international development. She has worked extensively with Fortune 500 companies, providing tax advisory services and consulting on various aspects such as entrepreneurship, grants and contract management, strategy design, project administration, and the implementation of market systems development interventions in rural markets.

Saroja played a pivotal role in leading one of iDE Bangladesh's flagship programs, WEESMS, providing technical and management oversight. Additionally, she served as an Associate Director of Programs and provided strategic leadership across various portfolios.

Prior to joining iDE Bangladesh, Saroja consulted for various NGOs in Nepal including the Esther Benjamin Trust, Child Rescue Nepal. She also worked at the leading consulting firms, Deloitte in the U.S. and brings strong project management skills with the ability to assess risks and track results. Saroja holds a B.A. from Augsburg College in the U.S., where she majored in accounting and finance.
