Roque is an Agricultural Engineer with over 20 years of experience in the agricultural sector, including extension services, animal traction and dissemination, and validation of appropriate technologies. He has also worked with postharvest technologies and soil conservation techniques. Roque is founder and former national coordinator of the Latin American animal traction network RELATA (Red Latinoamericana de Tracción Animal). He has also worked with Proyecto LUPE, which focuses on improving the use and productivity of soil, as a Component Coordinator for Postharvest and Agribusiness, and Component Coordinator of Agriculture and Livestock. His work coordinating the Rural Technology Program (PTR) in the northern part of Honduras required him to plan, manage, and evaluate appropriate technology transfers. At iDE, Roque is in charge in the design and implementation of agricultural productivity and technology of projects in country.
