As co-founder of the Denver law firm Hill & Robbins, Bob specialized in class action litigation and played a key role in securing some of the largest civil-damage recoveries in Colorado, returning hundreds of millions of dollars to consumers and pension beneficiaries. America's Leading Business Lawyers described him as a "first-rate lawyer" who is "extraordinary" in the courtroom and skilled at resolving disputes before they reach trial. In addition to his legal career, Bob has been highly active in non-profit organizations. He has served as the chair of iDE’s board since 2012, founded and chaired the board of Invest in Kids for many years, and was a founding board member of Nurse-Family Partnership, a nationally recognized program for at-risk families, which he chaired from 2003 to 2018.
