His role is to work with and lead the team and projects to create a positive impact for under-resourced communities. Over the last ten years, Phearak has played different roles at the iDE Innovation Lab, including research, design, and project and portfolio management. He has also worked across designing products, services, and system improvements to solve problems of people in sectors such as agriculture, conservation, health, nutrition, and water, sanitation, and hygiene (WASH) through applying human-centered design (HCD), and other innovative processes. Academically, Phearak received his master’s degree in Entrepreneurship and Innovation from the University of Queensland in Australia.

Outside work, he loves researching old music spanning from the 50s to the 90s, while playing the guitar.
