For the past 15 years, Quang has directed iDE’s efforts in Vietnam. With a dynamic and dedicated team, he leads the implementation of rural marketing and private sector supply strengthening projects for small-scale micro-irrigation, pork production, rice farming intensification, and rural household sanitation in North and Central Vietnam, collaborating with the communist government at many different levels. Quang has been with iDE for 18 years, first joining as the manager of a project that adapted a coconut-processing technology to Vietnam, established a coconut-drying factory, and created a high-value market for small coconut producers in South Vietnam. Quang received his Bachelor of Science in Engineering in Moscow, and also holds an MBA from the Atkinson Graduate School of Management in Oregon.
