Kelsey made a significant career shift from engineering to international development following her  service as a Peace Corps health volunteer in Ghana, where she specialized in WASH from 2014 to 2017. She brings her passion for problem-solving and critical thinking to iDE, where she supports operational excellence across iDE’s country offices.

By ensuring effective systems and organizational structures, Kelsey enables field teams to  focus on creating meaningful impact in local communities. Kelsey primarily supports iDE’s Africa and Central America portfolio, and holds a Masters of Development Practice from Regis University, in addition to a Bachelor's degree in Civil and Environmental Engineering from the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign.
