James is the director of finance and administration at iDE Mozambique. He is an experienced professional who has excelled in the field of finance management, organizational development and leadership in the development sector. As an integral part of the leadership team, he ensures compliance through establishing transparency and accountability in the areas of operations, finance, grants management, and budget. He leads and mentors other employees on various financial management tasks and harmonizes processes across iDE programming.  James brings a wealth of experience on financial reporting, social enterprise operations and grants management having previously served at IDE Ghana as the senior director of finance and operations for over seven years and also worked at  IFDC Nigeria starting as an accounts intern, then holding other positions of increasing responsibility such as project accountant on USAID Feed the Future (MARKETS II) project and national accountant with management of various grants such as FtF Nigeria Agro Inputs project, 2SCALE DGIS project, and the World Bank TRIMING Project. James holds a degree in accounting and is a certified chartered accountant with ACCA UK.
