Abigail is from Zambia and is the mother of two adored children. She joined iDE Zambia in 2014 as a program administrator after having worked in the same position with iDE Zimbabwe. She was later appointed gender equity and social inclusion (GESI) coordinator. In 2022, she rose to GESI manager and was promoted to GESI regional officer for Africa in 2023. She is a sociologist by profession and holds a social work degree. Abigail has gained vast experience in GESI mainstreaming and integration as well as GESI-sensitive participatory evaluations. She played a key role in conducting baseline research for the new Her Time To Grow project, being implemented in Zambia, Ghana and Ethiopia, funded by Global Affairs Canada.
